Food for Thought
Democracy Matters & the Office of Sustainability host a panel discussion on local food movements this Tuesday at 7 pm in the Farrel Room at Saint Michael's College. The four panelists are Megan Luce from Democracy Matters, Political Science Professors Mike Bosia and Jeff Ayres, who are collaborating on research about local food movements, and Ben Hewitt, author of The Town that Food Saved, about one Vermont community's effort to promote rural development. This event is part of a week of actions to Fight the Corporate Takeover hosted by Democracy Matters. FREE AMERICAN FLATBREAD PIZZA will be available.
