There is a difference, usually by a month or so, between the first day of spring and the first spring day. Vermont keeps us waiting, but now that March break is over, pre-registration is upon us—that time when students pick their courses for next fall. Oh, the sap is running. Quite nicely I am told. Can spring be far behind?
